How much is the initial consultation?​

Absolutely no charge - FREE!!

What should I expect during the consultation?​

We will visit your home, take time to understand your home staging needs and provide you with all the

information you need to determine if our home staging service meets your needs.

How much does it cost for a home staging service?

Most services are an hourly fee.  

How long does it take to complete a home staging?​

It is based on size of home and the scale of the service requested.

Time frames can span a period of a couple of hours to a couple days based on your needs.

Estate Liquidation Questions

We are downsizing our home, can we have an estate sale?

Absolutely and we would be happy to help you through that process!

How much is the consultation?​

Absolutely no charge - FREE!!

What should I expect during the consultation?​

We will visit the estate, provide you with all the information you need and help you determine

if an estate sale is the best solution for you and your family.

If the estate executor lives out of state can we still have an estate sale?​

Yes and we are happy to accommodate this process remotely.

How much does it cost to conduct an estate sale?

There is no up-front charge.  At the conclusion of each sale, Room Service receives an agreed upon commission percentage from total liquidation sales.  This commission percentage is determined during the free consultation.

How long does it take to prepare an estate for a liquidation sale?​

We schedule estate sales every two weeks to ensure we have the proper amount of time to stage the home, research/price the value of your belongings and effectively market your sale.

If there are belongings in the estate that our family would like to keep,​ what is the process?

We offer several options:  Family can remove those items from the home in advance of the sale, Family can move those items to a private area in the home or Room Service can mark those items "Not for Sale".

How do you determine the value of each item as your price the items in our estate sale?

We use a variety of technology based pricing sources to determine a fair value.  

We partner with local appraisers for Estates that high valued art, antiques or collectibles.

Are there any items that cannot be sold in an estate sale?

We will not include any expired/opened packages of food, drink or other consumable items.  

Any partially opened chemicals, cleaning products, hazardous chemicals, etc also will not be included.  

Room Service will assist with the proper disposal of these products.

What happens to the items that don't sell in our estate sale?

 We offer a couple options to assist with these items:  We can assist with donating remaining items to a charity of your choice or work with a local vendor that will offer a lump sum for remaining inventory.

How do you market our estate sale?

We have several marketing channels:  EstateSales.net, DFWRoomService.com, Facebook, Instagram and our email subscription list.  Photos of the upcoming event are shared across all channels.
